Denny Belluzzo, longtime supporter of FOS pickleball, and President of the FOS Pickleball Club for the last few years, announced his resignation at the club’s November 24th meeting. Members expressed disappointment in his decision to leave, but grateful to him for successfully raising the club’s membership from a handful of residents to its current count of 216 members.
Carl Wright, a familiar face on the FOS pickleball court, has accepted the position of President of the FOS Pickleball Club beginning January 1, 2016. Many of you might recognize Carl from the recent article about him and Tim Seymour playing in the USAPA Nationals in Casa Grande. At the Pickleball Club meeting on November 24th, Carl mentioned his background in construction and as an engineer in the Aerospace industry. He plans on putting his experience to good use in the planning and construction of future pickleball courts at FOS.
